Textured Waves – Coastal Acrylic Workshop | April 5

Step into a slow, calming creative space as we paint soft, coastal waves using texture, movement, and soothing ocean tones. This workshop is led by guest artist Saniya, a professional texture artist based in the Bay Area and founder of Saniya's Art Studio.

In this beach-inspired session, we'll create a wave painting using light molding paste and gentle palette-knife techniques that feel grounding and meditative. This class is welcoming for beginners and enjoyable for anyone with some painting experience. You'll be guided step by step, with no pressure to make things perfect.

The focus is on feeling the rhythm of the waves, building texture intuitively, and letting the painting come together naturally. It's less about rules and more about the experience — slowing down, working with your hands, and enjoying the quiet satisfaction of creating textured art inspired by the sea.

ABOUT SANIYA

Saniya is a full-time professional artist known for her bold, super-thick textured abstract paintings inspired by nature, joy, and emotion. With a Master’s in Computer Science and nearly a decade in IT, she made a brave pivot during the pandemic—leaving behind a stable career to follow what truly lit her up: art. 

Her work has been showcased at international art fairs including Superfine Art Fair, Art San Diego, Seattle Art Fair, LA Art Fair, and the Reno Tahoe International Art Show. Saniya believes we live in a world overwhelmed by constant rush, noise, and the pressure to chase what’s next. Her paintings are created as a pause in that motion—a visual exhale. Each piece is layered, tactile, and radiant, inviting you to slow down, feel, and come home to a moment of calm.

• Diamond-shaped palette knife

Your spot is reserved once full payment is received. Workshop registrations, missed classes, no-shows, and any deposits are non-refundable.

Transfers & Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person or request a one-time reschedule to a similar workshop of equal value at least 7 days prior, subject to availability. All transfer or reschedule requests must be made by emailing saniyasartstudio@gmail.com.

Studio-Initiated Changes
If Saniya's Art Studio cancels or reschedules a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend another workshop of equal value.
